Agency Visits

We realize that it’s been a while since our last post, but there are now a few things we can let you all know.

Two weeks ago we attended an information meeting at one of our potential adoption agencies. It was a great meeting and we walked away having learned a lot about the adoption process. This week, we have meetings at two more agencies (one on Wednesday night, and one on Thursday afternoon). After learning about the values and processes of all three agencies, we will be praying through making the all-important decision on which agency to use. We appreciate your prayers in the coming weeks as we make this decision.

P.S. One of the most important issues that we are considering in our decision is how well the birth mother (and birth father) are taken care of during the process. We have grown to care very much about their care and want to know that our resources are being well-stewarded toward their physical, emotional, and spiritual care.
